"Pictures are always the result of the meeting the human with the human. "
Hello there!
It's great to see you here! Thank you for visiting and for your time.
My most important photographic goal is to show the true essence of my clients. I use photography as a tool for my own self-therapy and I know its healing power.
Did you know that many of us never truly see ourselves, even in the mirror? Did you know that modern visual technologies, by using tools that beautify reality (filters, graphic programs, etc.), cause us to not only distance ourselves from each other, deepening the sense of isolation, but also from ourselves?
In the long run, what seems like innocent fun makes us feel more lost, distant, inadequate, not good enough, not attractive enough, flawed. This can lead to a deep lack of self-acceptance, rejection of who we are and what we have experienced, and can also exacerbate anxiety and depression.
The photography I offer you is an opportunity to see yourself truly, with love and acceptance, without unnecessary retouching, without falsifying and embellishing reality.
The photography I offer is my an artistic photography vision that will help you see and love yourself, your strengths, the layers of your personality and experiences, allowing you to look at your true self with gentle and loving eyes.
This is an artistic photography, filled with deep love for another person and their story.
My name is Katarzyna Wronska-Kedzior. Photography has been a part of my life since 1995. From 1995 to 1998, I attended a vocational photography school in Warsaw. From 1996 to 1998, I studied photography under the guidance of a master of studio lighting, a Polish photographer, portraitist, and author of popular photography books: Leonard Karpiłowski.
In 2008, I completed an advanced course in digital photography at the European Academy of Photography, run by Izabela Jaroszewska in Warsaw. From 2009 to 2010, I studied at the Photography Studio of the ZPAF (Polish Association of Artistic Photographers) in Warsaw.
Since 2015, I have been living in Tønsberg, Norway, where I run my own photo studio called "KWKF Photo Studio."
Since 2022, I have been the author of the FotoNormatywni podcast, in which I talk to other creators about the broadly understood space of creativity, passion, challenges associated with creative work, and more.
As a photographer, I am always searching for new means of expression. Art seems to me an endless search for constantly new ways of expressing one's own feelings, desires, and observations. My work philosophy is based on capturing stories, memories, and images. My work focuses heavily on existentialism. Through my commercial work, I try to create the best image of my clients as I see them, so that their photos are a beautiful and lasting memento of their presence. In my own artistic work, I account for my own experiences. I seek the meaning of my existence, peace, happiness, and fulfillment.
I work in both digital and analog techniques. I create analog works with a large-format travel wooden camera on 13x18 and 18x24 film sheets.
My works have been recognized many times in international competitions and have participated in solo and group exhibitions. You can check this in the "AWARDS" tab.
I invite you to view my PORTFOLIO and PRICE LIST if you are feeling my works are speaking to you. I hope you will stay here longer, and we can meet later at a photo session. If you have any questions, please use the contact form in the "CONTACT" tab.
Greetings,
Your photographer,
Katarzyna Wrońska-Kędzior
